Join a respected company with over 100 years of experience, and bring your skills as a Heavy Equipment Technician to our expanding team in Worthington.As a Heavy Equipment Technician, you will be repairing processing equipment, conveyors, and heavy equipment to include excavators and front-end loaders.Responsibilities:Examine equipment to determine any damages or malfunctions, service as needed.Perform preventative maintenance tasks on equipment to a defined schedule and maintain preventative maintenance instructions.Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings, hydraulics, etc. to ensure they are in proper operating condition.Ensure all equipment/facilities are 100% compliant to standard safety practices.Other duties as assigned by supervisor.Qualifications:High School diploma, GED or equivalent level of education preferred.Previous mechanical maintenance experience preferred.Ability to operate hand and power tools, drive forklift, assemble heavy mechanisms.Ability to stand, sit, lift, bend and climb throughout shift.Valid drivers license preferred.Welding experience is required.Benefits & Pay:Pay depending on experience Paid every Friday.
