Site Reliability Engineer (Corporate Technology)

Salary: $61,000 - 101,000 per year Requirements:

• Formal training or certification in site reliability engineering, with at least 3 years of applied experience
• Proficiency in site reliability engineering principles and familiarity with applying them to an application or platform
• Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Python, Java/Spring Boot, or .NET
• Working knowledge of using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities in SRE workflows, with strong validation practices and awareness of data sensitivity
• Ability to verify AI-assisted operational recommendations before making changes, escalate when uncertain, and follow data sensitivity requirements
• Strong knowledge of software applications and technical processes in a relevant discipline, such as cloud, AI, or Android
• Experience with observability, including white-box and black-box monitoring, service-level objective alerting, and telemetry collection
• Preferred: Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery tools
• Preferred: Familiarity with containers, container orchestration, and troubleshooting common networking technologies and issues

• Guide and support colleagues in creating appropriate designs and building peer consensus, while promoting SRE best practices across the team
• Collaborate with software engineers and other teams to design, develop, test, and implement deployment and reliability approaches using automated CI/CD pipelines
• Use enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to accelerate incident triage, troubleshooting, and post-incident analysis; validate outputs and handle operational data according to its sensitivity and security requirements
• Implement infrastructure, configuration, and network as code for assigned applications and platforms
• Work with technical experts, stakeholders, and teammates to resolve complex problems and address issues proactively using service-level indicators and objectives before customers are affected
• Apply enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to identify operational patterns that signal reliability risks or recurring toil, prioritizing reusable improvements linked to SLO outcomes
• Improve application and platform availability, reliability, and scalability in partnership with others through iterative changes
• Identify obstacles and opportunities for improvement, and explore new technologies where appropriate to address business problems
• Configure, maintain, monitor, and optimize applications and their supporting infrastructure
• Share end-to-end operational knowledge and contribute to the reliability and scalability of the teams applications and platforms
