Oliveda is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to manage the companys day-to-day financial operations. The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting knowledge, excellent organizational skills. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate financial records, maintaining compliance, and supporting overall financial health.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger entries.
• Process accounts payable and receivable in a timely manner.
• Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial accounts.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Collaborate with external accountants or auditors during financial reviews or audits.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements.
• Monitor cash flow and help manage budgets and forecasts.
• Maintain and organize financial records and supporting documentation.
• Suggest improvements to financial systems or procedures for efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 35+ years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in e-commerce environment.
• Knowledge of inventory accounting and multi-entity accounting.
• Familiarity with payroll systems and sales tax filings.

Job Type: Full-time - Culver City - CA

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
