CDL Truck Driver

Location 4555 South Racine Avenue, Chicago, IL, 60609, United States Base Pay $18.5 - $22.5 / Hour Employee Type Union Non-Exempt FT Contact information Description Truck Drivers are responsible for safe operation of company vehicles to deliver product to customers in a safe and timely fashion. Duties and Responsibilities Adherence to all DOT and FMCSA regulations. Deliver to 8-15 customers per day. Maintaining proper trip records related to distance/miles and product delivery. Confirm all deliveries are correct with reference to the invoice, truck temperature, and product quality. Call in all discrepancies to Dispatch Office and record Credit Memo #s for customers. Get customer signatures on all invoices and RMAs. Ensure proper storage of equipment upon returning to the building. Follow procedures as it relates to processing of returned and/or extra product. Qualifications Must be at least 21 years of age. Must have a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and a valid Medical Examiners Certificate. Must consent to a review of Motor Vehicle Record (MVR). Must pass a Department of Labor Drug and Alcohol Test. Must be able to comprehend (read and write) the English language. The position requires walking, standing, bending, twisting, and reaching 6- 8 hours per day. Must be able to safely lift a minimum of 50 lbs. and stand for long periods of time. #J-18808-Ljbffr
