Job Order ID: 11513 Salary: $100,000 - $125,000 per year Web Publication Date: 6/12/2026 Job Location: Holtsville, NY 11742 Brief Description Our client, a growing specialty construction services firm, is looking for a Procurement Manager, to oversee the procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontracted services for construction projects. This role ensures cost-effective purchasing, maintains strong vendor relationships, and leverages technology-driven tools to streamline processes, improve forecasting, and support data-driven decision-making. Key Responsibilities Manage end-to-end purchasing for materials, equipment, and subcontracted labor. Develop purchasing strategies to reduce costs and support schedules. Source and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, and reliability. Issue purchase orders and track deliveries. Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors. Negotiate pricing and contract terms. Conduct vendor performance evaluations. Utilize ERP and construction management systems (Procore, Sage, Viewpoint, CMiC). Implement digital workflows and analyze purchasing data. Train staff on new procurement technology. Collaborate with the Controller on budgets, cost codes, and accounting alignment. Monitor pricing trends and identify cost-saving opportunities. Maintain accurate procurement documentation and audit trails. Coordinate with project managers, estimators, and field teams regarding material needs. Job Requirements 5+ years of purchasing experience or supply chain experience Strong knowledge of construction materials and subcontractor processes Proficiency with ERP and procurement technology systems. Strong communication skills including negotiation skills. Strong organizational skills Ability to work independently and strong attention to detail Vista knowledge a plus Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and PDF software (Adobe / BlueBeam) Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Construction Management. Experience implementing procurement software preferred. Power BI or advanced analytics capabilities preferred. Pay: $100,000 - $125,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
