Family Medicine/Primary Care - Nurse Practitioner - Plainville page is loaded## Family Medicine/Primary Care - Nurse Practitioner - Plainvillelocations: Plainville, MAtime type: Full timeposted on: Posted 2 Days Agojob requisition id: R8977Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40-Coordinates and provides care for a group of patients spanning all age groups and cultures for a designated time frame using therapeutic means, the laboratory process, the environment/instrumentation and other health care team members while assuming responsibility and accountability for these patients; responsibilities are to provide patient care in an ambulatory care setting under the clinical supervision of a physician or MD within the guidelines of nursing process and nurse practitioner protocols as outlined in Patient Care Guidelines for Nurse Practitioners.**Report to:**Medical Director and Practice Manager (Administratively)**Manages:** N/A**Coordinates Assignments, Workflow, and Activities/Provides for Guidance:** Medical Assistant**Required Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:*** Graduate of an accredited school, master prepared with a degree as a Nurse Practitioner Massachusetts licensure.* Departmental specialized training to provide care to patients within role and successful completion of SMH orientation program**Preferred Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:*** Command of verbal and written English* Operation of clinical equipment demonstrates clinical competence,* Positive interpersonal communication skills and good organizational skills* Three to five years medical office experience**Educational Requirements:** Master in Science in Nursing/Nurse Practitioner**License/Certification:** CPR certification.
