Senior Estimator

Job Description Experience: Senior Level Salary: $100,000 - $125,000 per year Job Details Responsibilities Review and analyze civil, architectural, and landscape plans, specifications, and bid documents. Prepare accurate quantity takeoffs, cost estimates, and pricing proposals for commercial landscape construction projects. Review and validate material pricing, subcontractor proposals, and internal takeoffs for accuracy and completeness. Develop labor, equipment, and production cost estimates. Identify project risks, technical challenges, and logistical considerations during the estimating process. Prepare estimates throughout various design phases, including conceptual, schematic, design development, and construction documents. Lead and coordinate responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs). Communicate and negotiate with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing and successful project outcomes. Collaborate with operations and project management teams to ensure smooth project transitions after award. Qualifications 5+ years of estimating experience within the construction industry, preferably in landscape construction, site development, or civil construction. Strong ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents. Experience preparing detailed estimates for projects at various stages of design. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office applications. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. Highly detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Self-motivated with a proactive approach to managing responsibilities.
