QA Lab Tech

Job Description Tests and evaluates a variety of consumer products for safety and performance by interpreting and applying the latest government regulations, industry standards, specifications and testing protocols. Must be able to evaluate test data and document results. Responsible for use, maintenance and calibration of complex test equipment. Must be detail oriented, organized, and capable of performing multiple tasks with an analytical problem‑solving mindset. Must demonstrate strong communication and written skills. Coordinates daily workload to effectively complete test requests in a timely manner. Selects and purchases test samples. Must be self‑reliant and able to accomplish testing with minimum supervision. Other related duties as assigned. Job Grade 3 Job Tier 2 Career Area Quality Assurance Supervisor No Job Qualifications Two years of general office experience. Prior product testing and use of laboratory equipment preferred, as well as math and computer skills used in report writing. Farnesworth‑Munsell 100 Hue Test (score ≥ 80%) Vision correctable to 20/20.
