Primary Functions of the Welder: The Welder is responsible for inspecting, cutting, preparing and welding parts used in heavy construction equipment. Main Responsibilities and Qualifications of the Welder: Able to follow company safety rules and regulations Minimum of 2 years prior experience Operate angle grinders, drills, saws, cutting torches, etc. to prepare parts Weld components using manual and semi-automatic welding equipment Test and inspect welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws Maintain accurate records of time, parts, and materials Ability to lift 75+ lbs. and climb onto equipment (3–4 ft) Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area Ability to work in varied weather and shop conditions What CRH Offers You Highly competitive base pay Comprehensive medical, dental and disability benefits programs Group retirement savings program Health and wellness programs An inclusive culture that values opportunity for growth, development, and internal promotion About CRH CRH has a long and proud heritage.
