Description
American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer with 3+ years acute hospital experience and ARDMS (AB)(OB)(RVT) certification.
Details
- Diagnostic imaging department performing general ultrasound and vascular studies
- Variable 40-hour shift schedule with call as needed
- Floating to other units/departments may be required
- Performs abdomen, GYN, OB, neonatal, superficial structure, and vascular ultrasound studies
- Procedures include aspirations, biopsies, drainage, and intraoperative ultrasound
- Uses Canon i700 ultrasound equipment, Meditech EMR, and Fuji Synapse PACS
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years experience as a full-time sonographer in an acute hospital setting
- At least one prior travel contract preferred
- ARDMS certification in Abdomen (AB), OB/GYN (OB), and Vascular Technology (RVT) required
- Current BLS certification through AHA required
- State license required if applicable
- Must be competent in abdominal, GYN, OB, neonatal, superficial structure, and vascular ultrasound procedures
Additional Information
- Must report to Employee Health 48-72 hours prior to assignment start for onboarding
- No RTO granted during the first 13 weeks of the contract
- Personal scrubs and professional healthcare attire required
