Program Manager

Position Title: Program Manager Salary Range: $160,000 - $190,000 / Year DOE This role is designed for experienced Program Managers who will take ownership of defense programs with full accountability for financials, schedules, delivery, and customer satisfaction. The position requires a leader capable of turnaround strategies in high‑visibility, high‑risk programs that are currently facing challenges. Candidates must be comfortable navigating complex environments, defending their strategies, and implementing solutions that will restore program health. The ideal individual will possess a strong technical background and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including senior leadership and customers. Program Manager Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of assigned programs, ensuring adherence to financial and schedule commitments Engage with customers, including government program offices, to maintain transparency and address challenges Lead cross‑functional teams to achieve program objectives and deliverables Develop and implement turnaround strategies for programs in distress Prepare and present updates to senior leadership and stakeholders Manage program budgets, ensuring compliance with financial targets Facilitate clear communication across all levels of the organization Program Manager Requirements Secret security clearance or ability to obtain one Defense industry program management experience Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, with a preference for candidates with up to 10 years Proven experience managing programs with budgets of at least $1 million DOD experience is required Technical background in engineering or related fields Experience managing manufacturing production programs Experience with struggling programs is preferred Ability to demonstrate confidence in interviews without appearing overly assertive is preferred A degree in engineering or a related field is preferred Experience turning around troubled programs is preferred Navy programs background is preferred Experience in high‑complexity, low‑volume production is preferred Track record of successfully managing and turning around struggling programs is preferred Benefits Generous PTO policy starting at approximately 3–3.5 weeks in the first year, increasing to 4 weeks from years 2–5 401(k) plan with a dollar-for-dollar match up to 4%, with vesting after one year Comprehensive healthcare options through a leading provider Wellness programs available to reduce monthly premiums Student loan assistance and tuition reimbursement programs If you are a Program Manager looking to take the next step in your career, apply now! #J-18808-Ljbffr Boutique Recruiting
