Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Patient Care Technician (PCT) Harborview Medical Center - Acute Care Float Pool Unit has an outstanding opportunity for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Patient Care Technician (PCT) position. CURRENT WORK SCHEDULE OPENINGS 90% FTE (36 hours per week), Day shift PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Direct and indirect care to patients and their families under the general supervision of the Registered Nurse Assist patients with activities of daily living: bathing, showering, dressing, getting in and out of bed or a chair, walking, using the toilet, and eating Maintain a safe environment of care Patient transportation Prepare patients for surgery Perform non-invasive lab procedures Transport equipment and supplies Assist with treatments Perform various clerical tasks Take vital signs REQUIREMENTS Current, valid Certified Nursing Assistant Certification (NAC) with WA State (please indicate your NA-C credential number on your resume) High School graduation and six months experience involving direct patient care or customer service in a health care setting Valid American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider CPR card by start date Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license, certification, and/or registration.
