Description: The cardiac cath lab features two labs staffed by a team dedicated to providing high-quality care. Each lab has one or two registered nurses and one or two technicians per case during the day shift. The night shift operates with an on-call three-man team. Patient ratios are maintained at 1:1 during procedures, ensuring personalized care. The type of equipment used includes GE EMR and Meditech. Typical procedures performed in the lab include left heart catheterization, right heart catheterization, percutaneous coronary intervention, shockwave therapy, permanent pacemaker insertion, and usage of Impella and IABP. The ideal candidate should be independent, have a strong work ethic, and maintain a positive attitude. The unit values hard work and commitment and provides an opportunity to work with advanced technology and experienced staff. Candidates with additional skills in vascular or peripheral intervention experience are preferred. Expect to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with staff.
