CDR General Services is seeking a Production Support Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate for this position will be a reliable and effective individual with a strong work ethic, capable of performing basic manual labor, completing assigned tasks efficiently, and supporting production operations in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Job Type: Full-Time

Job Location : Convent, LA

Pay Rate: $17 per hour

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Manually move steel, stock, and other materials as required
• Read work orders or receive verbal instructions to determine job tasks and material needs
• Move materials to and from production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, or containers by hand or using equipment such as forklifts, trucks, or cranes
• Sort cargo prior to loading and unloading
• Load and unload cargo safely and efficiently
• Transport tools and supplies from storage areas or trucks to job sites and return them after use
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies

Qualifications

• Ability to perform basic manual labor in an industrial or production environment
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
• Ability to follow written work orders and verbal instructions
• Prior warehouse, production, or general labor experience preferred
• Forklift experience preferred (certification a plus, not required)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials as required
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
