Job Description:


- Position Summary:
- Contribute to a mission-driven laboratory environment by utilizing your skills and expertise.
- Engage in all aspects of laboratory operations while ensuring high-quality patient care.

- Supervision:
- Report directly to the Director of Laboratory.

- Shift Information:
- Work 4-10 hour shifts per week, with varied start times between 6 AM - 8 AM.
- Participate in an on-call rotation, providing flexibility and support.

- Job Qualifications:
- Hold an Associate's Degree in Medical Technology or Medical Laboratory Science.
- Possess ASCP or AMT professional certification and maintain proper standing.
- Demonstrate full range of body motion, dexterity, and visual acuity.

- Principal Responsibilities:
- Perform laboratory services adhering to CLIA standards within established budgets.
- Ensure accurate test results through adherence to protocols and quality assurance measures.
- Participate in proficiency testing and analyze results for improvement.
- Collaborate with reference labs for high-quality testing and reports.
- Order and receive laboratory supplies efficiently.
- Collect specimens from patients of all ages, ensuring comfort and care.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and keep work areas clean and organized.
- Embrace continuous learning through training and professional development opportunities.
- Uphold strict confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations at all times.
- Foster a respectful and communicative environment across departments.
