Job Description

We are seeking a proficient CVOR Operating Room Technician (ORT) with advanced skills in scrubbing cardiac cases requiring bypass and related procedures in the mediastinum. The ideal candidate will also support thoracic surgery cases including da Vinci assisted procedures, open thoracotomy, VATS, and ECMO initiation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain equipment and instruments for cardiac and thoracic surgeries.
• Assist in a variety of cardiac procedures such as CABG, valve replacement, and TAVR.
• Perform key responsibilities during surgical procedures under the supervision of the surgical team.
• Take call as required; unit hours of operation are from 0630 to 1500.
• Participate in weekend calls on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday when assigned.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Proficient in scrubbing cardiac and thoracic surgical procedures.
• Ability to initiate ECMO and perform pericardial windows.
• BLS certification required.
• Must have experience with da Vinci robotic surgery system.
