Registerd Nurse- Medical Surgical - Travel #26-13557 RN-Registered Nurse // Med Surg All On-site Contract Starts 6/08/2026 13 weeks Night Shift 12 hours/day 3 days/week Registerd Nurse- Medical Surgical - Travel Hendersonville, TN 13 weeks Shift - 7:00PM - 7:00AM Job Summary The Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical provides direct patient care to adult and geriatric patients admitted to the Med‑Surg unit. The RN is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized patient care while ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with a wide range of medical and post-surgical conditions Perform patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and document clinical findings accurately Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as prescribed by physicians Monitor post-operative patients for complications and respond promptly to changes in condition Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and update care plans Educate patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records (EMR documentation) Ensure infection control practices and patient safety protocols are strictly followed Respond to emergencies and provide critical interventions when needed Assist with discharge planning and continuity of care coordination Required Skills & Qualifications Current and active RN license (State of employment) BLS certification required (ACLS preferred depending on unit) Minimum 1–2 years of Med‑Surg or acute care hospital experience preferred Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills Ability to manage multiple patients in a fast‑paced environment Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Proficiency in EMR systems (Epic/Cerner preferred) TalentBurst is an equal opportunity employer committed to an inclusive and diverse workforce. #J-18808-Ljbffr Creative Solutions Services, LLC
