Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - PRN
Location: Shady Nook Nursing and Rehab - Lawrenceburg, IN
Schedule: PRN (As Needed)

Shady Nook Nursing and Rehab is seeking a compassionate and dedicated PRN Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our rehabilitation team in Lawrenceburg, IN. This flexible opportunity is ideal for a skilled clinician who is passionate about helping residents improve communication, cognition, swallowing, and overall quality of life through individualized, patient-centered care.

What You'll Do:

Evaluate residents and develop individualized speech-language therapy treatment plans
Provide evidence-based therapy interventions addressing communication, cognition, speech, and swallowing needs
Monitor resident progress, update goals, and modify treatment plans as appropriate
Conduct swallowing assessments and provide appropriate dysphagia interventions as indicated
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support coordinated and effective rehabilitation outcomes
Educate residents, families, and caregivers on strategies and techniques to support communication, cognition, and safe swallowing
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with clinical and regulatory standards

Qualifications:

Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in the state of Indiana
Master's degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program
Current ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred/required as applicable
Current BLS certification
Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and commitment to patient-centered care
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the rehabilitation and interdisciplinary teams
