RN - Med Surg

Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in a Medical-Surgical unit. This role is essential for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Location: Springfield, TN

Unit Information:

• Number of Beds: 27 on each floor
• Patient Ratios: 5:1
• Staffing Support: Unit secretaries during the day shift and techs available on all shifts
• Equipment: Computer on Wheels, Pyxis, Welch Allen vital sign machines
• Documentation System: Meditech Expanse
• Floating Policy: Flexibility to float between units as needed

Schedule Requirements:

• 3 days a week with every other weekend required

Qualifications:

• Must Have: Basic Medical-Surgical experience, particularly with post-operative orthopedic patients
• Advanced Skills Needed: Not applicable
• Common Procedures: Blood transfusions, IV and central line maintenance
• Certifications Required: BLS; ACLS preferred but not mandatory

Dress Code: Required uniform is dark blue.
