NICU Registered Nurse - Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)

Job Description

Join our Level IV NICU team, specializing in high-acuity surgical, gastrointestinal, respiratory, and neurological conditions in neonates. This role involves caring for critically ill infants, including those with a high volume of intubated and acute cases. Experience in ventilator and tracheostomy care is essential, alongside a strong background in pediatric nursing.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care for neonates with complex medical needs.
Monitor patient status and respond to changes in condition.
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.
Administer medications and treatment as prescribed.
Utilize specialized equipment for respiratory support and care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Current OH or Compact RN License.
Certifications: BLS, NRP, and PALS.
Minimum of 2 years of Level IV NICU experience required.
Ventilator and trach care experience required.
Pediatric nursing experience preferred.
