We’re looking for a fun, friendly, energetic, and outgoing barista to join our team at The Hollow, the beautiful new coffee shop located in the lobby of the new Hyatt House and JDV by Hyatt The Mindaro.As a coffee barista, you’ll be one of the first friendly faces our guests see each morning. You’ll help create a welcoming atmosphere while preparing delicious coffee, breakfast items, and providing warm, efficient service.What You'll DoPrepare and serve Stumptown Coffee espresso drinks, drip coffee, and other beveragesPrepare and serve breakfast foods and grab-and-go itemsGreet guests, take orders, and provide friendly, upbeat serviceAccurately enter orders and operate the POS systemHandle cash and credit card transactions responsiblyKeep The Hollow clean, organized, and welcomingStock coffee, food, supplies, and other products throughout the shiftFollow food safety, cleanliness, and sanitation standardsMultitask and stay organized in a fast-paced morning environmentWork closely with the hotel team to create a great guest experienceWhat We're Looking ForFun, friendly, energetic, and outgoing personalitySomeone who genuinely enjoys interacting with peopleA positive attitude and willingness to jump in wherever neededSelf-motivated and able to work independentlyComfortable multitasking and prioritizing during busy periodsReliable, dependable, and punctualStrong attention to detailPrevious barista, coffee shop, restaurant, or hospitality experience is a plus, but we’re willing to train the right personEarly-morning availability is requiredWhy Join Us?You’ll be part of something new!
