Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced IT Applications Systems Specialist with strong MEDITECH Expanse Electronic Health Record (EHR) experience to support, maintain, optimize, and enhance clinical and administrative application systems in a hospital environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for a healthcare IT professional with expertise in MEDITECH Expanse, clinical workflows, application troubleshooting, system upgrades, user training, and application lifecycle management. DW

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of five years of acute-care and/or ambulatory MEDITECH Expanse EHR systems experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Health Sciences, Information Systems, Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field; an equivalent combination of education, experience, and training may be considered.
• Strong understanding of clinical workflows, healthcare operations, and healthcare IT applications.
• Demonstrated experience troubleshooting, supporting, maintaining, or optimizing electronic health record systems.
• Experience supporting clinical users, including physicians and nursing professionals.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to nontechnical audiences.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and take ownership of assigned applications and projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience serving as a MEDITECH Expanse application specialist, analyst, administrator, or application support lead.
• Experience coordinating EHR upgrades, patches, application implementations, or system enhancements.
• Experience developing test plans, performing application validation, and supporting release management.
• Experience training physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals on EHR workflows.
• Familiarity with healthcare application integration, access provisioning, incident management, and data integrity practices.
• Experience working with clinical informatics, application lifecycle management, and business relationship management.
• Experience collaborating with healthcare IT vendors and multidisciplinary operational teams.
