Grain Merchandiser

Job Description

We’re seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Grain Merchandiser to join a growing agricultural trading organization. This position will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with producers, end users, and international customers.


Key Responsibilities:

• Buy, sell, and trade grain and related commodities in domestic and export markets
  
  
• Build and manage relationships with producers, processors, and overseas buyers
  
  
• Monitor market trends, pricing, and logistics to maximize margins and minimize risk
  
  
• Collaborate with logistics and accounting teams to ensure smooth contract execution
  
  
• Support the development of new business opportunities in Latin America
  
  

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in grain merchandising, commodity trading, or related agricultural markets
  
  
• Strong understanding of grain markets, supply chains, and risk management principles
  
  
• Excellent communication skills
  
  
• Bachelor’s degree in Agribusiness, Economics, or related field preferred
