Overview
Speech Language Pathologist, Acute Care, Hilltop, West Virginia, United States. This is a travel - temporary assignment in a skilled nursing facility with an acute care component. Start date is 12/07/2026 for a 13-week contract, with guaranteed hours and a weekly pay range of $2,409 to $2,496. The scheduled shift runs 08:00 to 16:30 on five days per week (5x8), totaling approximately 35 guaranteed hours per week.

- Setting: Skilled nursing facility with acute care elements Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive speech-language pathology evaluations and deliver evidence-based therapy for communication and swallowing disorders in a skilled nursing setting
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans; document progress and adjust as needed
- Provide therapy across domains including speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing; collaborate with the interdisciplinary team
- Participate in care planning and interdisciplinary rounds; educate patients and families about treatment goals and discharge planning
- Maintain accurate patient records, ensure HIPAA compliance, and adhere to facility policies and coding/billing requirements Requirements
- Ability to work in a skilled nursing facility setting
- Willingness to travel for a temporary travel assignment
- Availability for guaranteed 35 hours per week within the scheduled shift
- Eligible to work in the United States
