Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) supporting individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder, emotional disabilities, and developmental delays. This contract opportunity offers three available openings, working directly within school environments near Fredericksburg, VA. Under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), you’ll play a vital role in fostering positive growth and behavioral success for students, both 1:1 and in small-group settings.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Carry out targeted academic, behavioral, and social skill-building programs created by the supervising BCBA.
• Accurately document real-time student progress and behavioral data using approved digital tracking systems.
• Practice proactive crisis intervention, utilizing certified prevention and de-escalation strategies as required.
• Work closely with classroom teachers and specialized support teams to optimize learning spaces and facilitate smooth student transitions.

Your Background:

• Active, verifiable Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
• High School Diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education a plus.
• Must successfully clear a Virginia fingerprint criminal history check and Department of Social Services child abuse registry screening.
• Physically able to assist students and lift up to 30 lbs as needed.

Preferred Experience:

• At least one year as an RBT within public school or pediatric care settings is highly desired.
