Job Summary:

We are seeking reliable and dedicated Caretakers to join us at Helping Hearts . This role is essential in providing high-quality support to our residents, ensuring their comfort and well-being. The ideal candidate will assist with daily living activities, light housekeeping, personal care, and emotional support. 

 

Responsibilities:

• Daily Care and Support

• Assist residents with activities and daily living activities (ADL’s) including bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming

• Help residents with mobility, including walking, transferring, and repositioning, per care plans

• Monitor vital signs and report any changes in residents’ appearance, behavior, and health status

• Provide companionship and emotional support

• Household and Meal assistance

• Light housekeeping and laundry assistance to ensure a comfortable living environment for residents

• Report accidents, incidents, or safety concerns promptly to the appropriate personnel

• Accompany clients to appointments or errands as needed

• Ensure compliance with HIPPA guidelines while handling patient information

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent

• Valid Drivers Licence

• Previous experience in Medication Assistance is preferred

• Certification as a Nursing Assistant or Home Health Aide is a plus

• Ability to pass pre-employment physical(drug screening) and background checks

• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Good communication and interpersonal skills
