This position partners with engineering, operations, suppliers, and customers to identify opportunities for improvement, resolve quality concerns, and ensure compliance with company, customer, and regulatory requirements.What you’ll do ...Lead quality assurance activities for assigned projects throughout the project lifecycleIdentify, investigate, and implement improvements to products and manufacturing processesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute quality programs and initiativesEnsure compliance with company policies, customer requirements, industry codes, and regulatory standardsSupport customer, supplier, and regulatory audits, including audit preparation, execution, and follow-up activitiesManage corrective actions and nonconformance reports through timely resolutionProvide technical quality guidance to inspectors, engineers, and manufacturing personnelConduct supplier audits and vendor surveillance activities as a lead auditorReview vendor documentation and quality records to ensure compliance with project requirementsCreate and review quality documentation, including final document packages, commercial-grade dedication packages, and customer submittalsPerform receiving and in-process inspections as neededWhat we’re looking for …Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering or a related technical fieldMinimum three (3) years of experience as a Quality Engineer, preferably within a manufacturing environmentAbility to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, codes, and industry standardsExcellent communication, organization, and documentation skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office applicationsExperience with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systemsPreferred QualificationsLead Auditor qualification in accordance with NQA-1.Knowledge of ASME BPVC, 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 21, and ASME NQA-1Skilled in team-oriented problem solving (RCA/CA/PA tools with the ability to teach and coach).Experience supporting nuclear, defense, industrial, or highly regulated manufacturing environments.Knowledge of fabrication processes including welding, machining, cutting, electrical assembly, HVAC systems, testing, and supplier oversight.Additional requirements …Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen and background check.Our Quality Assurance Engineer position may require access to information subject to US government contractual restrictions, including Unclassified Nuclear Information (UCNI) or other controlled information.
