Job Description As a Security Officer - Afternoon Rover in Phoenix, AZ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $20.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon01:00 PM - 09:00 PMTue01:00 PM - 09:00 PMSat01:00 PM - 09:00 PMSun01:00 PM - 09:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established procedures and notifying appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned buildings, public areas, parking locations, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate activity and incident documentation. Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, and public-service partners while providing directions, assistance, and support for security-related concerns. Minimum Requirements: A guard card or license is preferred. Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
