SEEKING A SKILLED AND DEPENDABLE LOW VOLTAGE FIRE AND BURGLAR ALARM TECHNICIAN TO JOIN OUR TEAM. THIS POSITION IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE INSTALLATION, PROGRAMMING, TESTING, INSPECTION, TROUBLESHOOTING AND MAINTENANCE OF FIRE AND INSTRUSION ALARM SYSTEMS IN RESIDENTIAL, COMMERCIAL AND/OR INDUSTRIAL ENVIRONMENTS.
COMPETIVE PAY BASED ON EXPERIENCE. NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY - WILL TRAIN.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
INSTALL, SERVICE AND MAINTAIN LOW VOLTAGE FIRE AND BURGLAR ALARM SYSTEMS.
TROUBLESHOOT SYSTEM ISSUES AND PERFORM NECESSARY REPAIRS.
PROGRAM AND TEST ALARM PANELS, DEVICES, AND PERIPHERALS.
PERFORM INSPECTIONS AND ENSURE SYSTEMS COMPLY WITH LOCAL AND NATIONAL CODES.
READ AND INTERPRET PLANS, SCHEMATICS AND WIRING DIAGRAMS.
DOCUMENT WORK PERFORMED AND COMPLETE SERVICE REPORTS ACCURATELY.
COMMUNICATE PROFESSIONALLY WITH CUSTOMERS, CONTRACTORS AND INSPECTORS.
FOLLOW COMPANY SAFETY POLICY AND PROCEDURES.
REQUIREMENTS:
ABILITY TO USE HAND AND POWER TOOLS SAFELY.
VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE AND CLEAN DRIVING RECORD.
ABILITY TO PASS BACKGROUND CHECK AND DRUG SCREENING.
STRONG TROUBLESHOOTING AND PROBLEM SOLVING SKILLS.
ABILITY TO LIFT UP TO 50 LBS.
ABILITY TO CLIMB LADDERS TO VARIOUS HEIGHTS, WORK IN TIGHT SPACES AND STAND FOR EXTENDED PERIODS.
ABILITY TO WORK INDOORS AND OUTDOORS IN VARIOUS CONDITIONS.
