Job Description:


- Shift: 19:00-07:00
- Location: 3301 Matlock Rd, 1st Floor, Main Building
- Unit Profile:
- 31 Beds, 63 Staff Members
- Day Shift: 1 Charge Nurse, 8 Staff Nurses, 2 PCTs, 1 Secretary
- Night Shift: 1 Charge Nurse, 8 Staff Nurses, 2 PCTs
- Patient Ratios: 1:4
- Required Skill Set:
- Must-Have: Registered Nurses (RNs) with ACLS certification
- Preferred: Critical care skill set for post cath management
- Typical Procedures:
- EKGs & EKG Recognition
- Pacemaker Interrogation
- Arterial Sheath Removal/Monitoring
- Cardiac Drip Maintenance
- Dress Code:
- Scrub Color: Royal Blue
- Acceptable Under Shirts: Long Sleeve, No Print in White, Blue, or Red
- Only Uniform-Approved Jackets Allowed
- Unit Guidelines:
- Focus on patients with specific cardiac and vascular diseases
- Nursing assessments every twelve hours
- Vital signs every four hours unless otherwise ordered
- Documentation requirements apply for patient transfers
