Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP) – Inpatient Rehab Facility – PRN | Vary University of Louisville Health Frazier Rehab Hospital‑Brownsboro, an acute rehabilitation facility dedicated to the treatment and recovery of individuals who have experienced the debilitating effects of a severe injury or illness. How you’ll contribute Evaluates and treats patient populations for swallowing, speech‑language, and therapy needs. Performs and documents initial and ongoing assessments of patient condition. Designs and implements a plan of care appropriate to identified problems and involving the patient and family. Educates and counsels patients and families regarding treatment plans and progress. Plans and/or assists with patient discharge from therapy services. Supervises activities of clinical fellows, students, and other support personnel. Licensed Speech Therapist with current licensure from State Board of Speech‑Language Pathology & Audiology. Current BLS certification within 60 days of hire. Strong critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work independently. Capacity to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
