Travel RN – New Mexico Pay: $65/hour + mileage reimbursement. Base pay range: $65.00/hr - $65.00/hr. Contract length: 6 weeks at a time, with assignments provided 6 weeks in advance. Options to extend every 6 weeks. Minimum 3 twelve‑hour shifts per week. Giving Home Health Care has been supporting individuals impacted by health conditions related to their work in nuclear facilities for the Department of Energy since 2012. We provide personalized, in‑home care to patients across Arizona, Colorado, Kentucky, Missouri, Nevada, New Mexico, Tennessee, Texas, and Utah. We are seeking experienced Travel Registered Nurses to support high‑acuity patient care in a flexible, collaborative environment across central and northern New Mexico. Transition Opportunity: If the travel nursing demand ends, you may transition into a standard 1099 nurse role with the opportunity to pick up high‑acuity shifts or a lower‑acuity caseload. Pay rate may change upon contract termination. Requirements: Active RN license Minimum 1 year of recent acute care experience (preferred) Reliable transportation for regional travel Flexibility and adaptability to different clinical settings Ability to provide exceptional care while exploring diverse communities in New Mexico Responsibilities (summary): Execute physician‑prescribed plans of care Complete compliant documentation of care in the system of record Manage and administer prescribed medication, treatment, and therapies Conduct patient assessments and coordinate care Perform activities associated with daily living Monitor vitals and GI intake/output Assess skin integrity and administer wound care Monitor changes in patient condition such as weight loss/gain, self‑care abilities, and disease progression indicators Communicate with family members, physicians, case managers, and other stakeholders regarding patient health Provide education and training to patients, families, and Home Health Aides Work with patients one‑on‑one in their homes to create a comfortable environment Collaborate with and supervise Certified Nursing Assistants and Personal Care Attendants Perform other personal care services as necessary to meet patient needs We rely on a team of passionate, dedicated professionals and are committed to creating a supportive, collaborative culture.
