An active in-state pharmacy technician license is required to be considered.In this role, you will be working within our pharmacy operations, including preparing inventory for Kiosk replenishment, filling prescriptions, and maintaining a safe and clean pharmacy environment. As this role grows, it will expand to include on-the-road responsibilities such as driving from the Pharmacy to our Kiosk locations, refilling inventory, and maintaining Pharmacy Kiosk Machines in regionalized areas upon promotion to a Level 3 Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT). You will also be working in the physical Pharmacy location preparing orders for customer shipments.Key job responsibilities:Prepare inventory shipments for Kiosk replenishmentAssist pharmacist in filling prescription items, as permitted by the state board of pharmacyMaintain a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules and regulationsWork daily with Leadership to ensure the right medications are put in the right packetsRun automated machinery required to pre-sort and package medicationsFill exception trays with appropriate medicationTransition Amazon Pharmacy orders through different workflow stages from initial dispense through quality controlCount and fill prescription vials and affix labels on bulk prescription itemsPack and ship completed orders including printing and affixing appropriate labels on dispenser, shipping boxesSort and triage the right boxes to ship at the right timeAid the Process Leads, Area Managers, and Staff Pharmacists with receiving, shipping, counting, and packingClean, and help maintain, equipment and work areasPackage medications for dispensing and for deliveryWork a flexible schedule - shifts will possibly start and end outside of normal business hoursPhysical Requirements:During shifts last up to 12 hours (standard full-time shifts are 10 hours excluding overtime, flex and part-time shifts may vary):Standing, bending, reaching above the head, kneeling, crouching and/or stretchingLifting and moving products up to 49 lbs in weightManual dexterity of hands and wristsBasic Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalentMust be at least 21 years oldActive and unrestricted in-state Board of Pharmacy License or ability to obtain a Pharmacy Technician License through the State Board of Pharmacy within 30 days of start date, if required by State Board of Pharmacy6+ months of experience working with computer and web-based toolsAbility to communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors.Ability to read and understand English language labelling on product cartons and prescription labels.Preferred Qualifications:National Pharmacy technician Certification (PTCB or NHA)Demonstrated ability to work as an effective team memberDemonstrated organization skills and attention to detailAbility to recognize and identify patient medicationsExperience working under pressure in a fast-paced work environment while consistently meeting standards for productivity and qualityActive and unrestricted in-state driver's licenseAmazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.
