Registered Nurse (RN), 12.5-Hour Shift Position #: 0000247474 Facility: Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center Department: Nursery Status: Part‑Time, Day Shift Pay Range: $47.85 - $76.27 per hour Job Overview Organize and administer individualized age‑specific professional care to patients within an assigned unit of the hospital in support of medical care. Supports the philosophy, objectives and the mission and vision of Saint Barnabas Medical Center and the Department of Nursing. Practices in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act, American Nurses Association Standards of Practice, Code of Ethics for Nurses, Department of Health Regulations, TJC requirements and other regulatory agencies. Participates in patient teaching and discharge planning. Participates in unit Performance Improvement evaluation activities. Qualifications Graduate from an accredited school of nursing Completion of all orientation requirements of Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center Successful completion of all orientation programs Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing or currently matriculating (Preferred) Nursing experience in Mother/Baby or Emergency Nursing (Preferred) Certifications and Licenses Required Current Registered Nurse License in the state of New Jersey Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association Scheduling Requirements Part‑Time Days – 7am‑8pm 12.5‑hour shifts 25 hours weekly Every other weekend required Other Duties Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
