Radiation Therapist

Job Summary:


We seek a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse with specialties in Medical/Surgical, ICU, ER, Psychiatric, Labor & Delivery, PACU, and Operating Room. The Registered Nurse will provide skilled nursing care, case management, and hospice care to individuals facing advancing age, frailty, and serious illness. Daily responsibilities include patient assessments, medication administration, treatment planning, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. Strong communication and collaboration with patients, providers, and team members are essential. A minimum of two years of experience and exceptional skill are required.

Responsibilities:

• Perform patient assessments and monitor patient conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Provide case management and hospice care for patients with serious illnesses.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EPIC charting system.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.

Required Skills & Certifications:

• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of practice (Washington).
• Minimum of two years hospital, home health, or hospice care experience.
• Proficiency in clinical assessment, medication administration, and treatment planning.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
• Driver's license, car insurance, and automobile for field work if applicable.
• Experience with EPIC electronic medical records system.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

• Specialized experience in Medical/Surgical, ICU, ER, Psychiatric, Labor & Delivery, PACU, or Operating Room settings.
• Experience working in a short-term acute care or Level III trauma center environment.

Special Considerations:

• No on-call duties required.
• No weekend or block schedule requirements.
• Must have nursing license in hand at time of hire.
• Work setting includes short-term acute care and Level III trauma center.
• Scrub color is flexible across units.
• Parking is provided at no cost.

Scheduling:

• Standard shift schedules without on-call or weekend requirements.
• Floating between units is not expected for this position.
