Come join Arcwood and be part of our legacy of environmental leadership!Essential Functions & ResponsibilitiesThe Billing Specialist is responsible for supporting the Billing team by performing daily activities such as accurate and efficient processing of transactions, invoicing for transportation and waste shipments, and invoicing submissions to customers. This role interacts with other departments, customers, and vendors to ensure invoice accuracy and timeliness.Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and maintaining safe practices at all timesCalculates transactions based on inventory of other data providedPerforms manifest reviews and enters manifests into MMS system; informs appropriate personnel of missing or incorrect dataCompletes third-party invoice receipt, distribution to locations, and processingReviews open transaction report for errors or issues to keep billing currentSubmits customer invoices through manual e-mail, customer portal, or other special delivery processes as assignedCompletes daily entry of timekeeping and customer invoice conversation notes regarding invoice submission statusCompletes customer requests for weights, manifest copies, and questions regarding invoicesFollows and updates existing standard operating procedures for dutiesCross-trains with other Billing Specialists and Billing Manager to ensure adequate coverageCommunicates invoice and pricing issues to the appropriate personnelEnsures that invoice billing and submission is completed thoroughly, accurately, and in a timely mannerDistributes signed documents and/or manifest copies to customers and/or generators as neededTakes on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organizationEducation- High school diploma or equivalent (required) - Bachelor's degree (preferred)Experience2+ years of experience in accounts receivable, billing or accounts payable (required)Benefits, Compensation & Workforce DiversityArcwood offers stability you can count on and opportunities to grow.
