The position involves working 12-hour shifts, either during the day or evening, from 0700 to 1930. The nurse will participate in a weekend rotation, which includes a maximum of three weekends per six-week scheduling period, and holiday rotations based on operational needs. Responsibilities Provide high-quality patient care in a medical-surgical or telemetry unit. Monitor and assess patient conditions, ensuring timely interventions as needed. Administer medications and treatments as per established protocols. Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes. Document patient care and progress accurately and promptly. Participate in continuous education and training sessions. Pass telemetry competency assessment prior to starting the position. Qualifications Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical-surgical or telemetry unit. Current AHA BLS certification. Experience with Epic electronic health record system.
