SAP Budget Systems Analyst

Salary: $76,000 - 116,000 per year Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in a business discipline such as Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
• At least five years of experience in an SAP environment, including at least three years working with SAC and hands-on SAC Planning experience.
• Strong expertise in SAP Analytics Cloud for Planning, including model design, data actions, allocations, and planning workflows.
• Working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA modules, particularly FI, CO, MM, and PS.
• Ability to design and maintain master data structures, hierarchies, and attributes across SAP platforms.
• Experience with system administration, including user roles, security, transports, and environment management.
• Ability to develop and maintain financial reports, dashboards, and analytics in SAC.
• Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Advanced Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, data modeling, and integration with SAP data sources.
• Excellent documentation skills, including process mapping, procedures, and technical specifications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to data accuracy and process integrity.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with Finance, IT, and operational stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA in Finance, Controlling, Material Master, or Project Systems, including at least one SAP implementation, is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with SAP ECC, SAP BW, and SAP BW IP, including data modeling, InfoProviders, and planning functions, is preferred.

• Administer SAP Analytics Cloud for Planning, including user provisioning, security roles, data actions, version management, and planning-process scheduling; support connected systems such as SAP Datasphere, S/4HANA, and Analytics Cloud Reports.
• Work with Master Data teams to identify and resolve data-quality issues and maintain consistent hierarchies, attributes, and structures for budgeting and reporting.
• Design, maintain, and optimize SAC Planning structures, including dimensions, hierarchies, data models, and allocation logic.
• Convert business requirements into scalable data models for budgeting, forecasting, cost allocations, project planning, and financial analytics.
• Maintain structural alignment between SAC Planning models and source systems such as S/4HANA and Workday to enable integrated planning.
• Document budgeting processes, data flows, planning models, integration points, and system configurations.
• Help Finance and operational teams create, enhance, and maintain reports and dashboards in SAC, S/4HANA, and Excel.
• Troubleshoot reporting issues, validate data accuracy, and align planning outputs with financial reporting structures.
• Support new analytics capabilities using SAC stories, analytic applications, and Excel-based reporting tools.
