POSITIONPURPOSE

This position acts as a customer advisor and navigator throughout the bank, uncovering, understanding, and actinguponfinancialcuestomeetthecustomer’sneeds.Thisemployeeoffersthecustomerthehighestdegree of service and promotes all Alliance Bank’s products and services.

SKILLS,KNOWLEDGE,ANDPHYSICALREQUIREMENTS

HighSchool diplomaorequivalency. Abilitytoread,write,andspeaktheEnglishlanguage,bilingualhelpful. AbilitytoofferAllianceBank’sproductsandservices. Two(2)yearsofexperienceinbankingorjob-relatedfieldandone(1)yearoftrainingand/oreducationin the field or a combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge. Mayconsider cashhandling,customerservice,and/oradministrativeskills. Aminimumof1yearatAllianceBankis preferred. Must possess excellent interpersonal communication skills and have the ability to deal with and respond to employees, customers, third party vendors, and salespersons with tact, diplomacy, and a sense of urgency. Ability to meet performance expectations and job description functionsfortheroleofaServiceSpecialist. Abilitytoprioritizeowntasksandresponsibilitiestoensurethatexcellentservicetoourcustomersis accomplished before most administrative functions are processed. Abilitytodiscoverothercustomerneedstocrosssale/sendreferralsforotherservicesincludingbutnot limited to: AllianceBankMortgage AllianceBankFinancialServices(ABFS) Galyean’sInsurance RemoteDepositCapture Assistcustomerswithaccountfraudsuchasidentitytheft,accounttakeover,counterfeitchecks,forgery items, debit card disputes, and ACH disputes. May perform vault duties such as ordering/shipping currency and coins and distributing money to other service specialists. Ability to learn the role of Relationship Banker II and perform that role in a frontline or backup capacity as needed. Establish, retain, and deepen relationships with banking center customers and potential customers to achieve sales goals and provide quality customer service. Keep updated on all Alliance Bank policies and procedures pertaining to this position. Attendance and punctuality are a must.
