Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical/Surgical Telemetry Duration: 20 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 18 months recent Medical/Surgical Telemetry experience. License: Permanent Ohio license or compact state license required. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS. Must-Have: - Minimum 18 months of permanent experience in Medical/Surgical Telemetry prior to travel. - One recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for is required to qualify for submission. - Active required certifications in hand at the time of submission. Description: This position is for a registered nurse specializing in Medical/Surgical Telemetry. The role requires working three 12-hour night shifts. A minimum of 18 months of recent Medical/Surgical Telemetry experience is required. Must have a permanent Ohio license or a compact state license in hand at the time of submission. BLS and ACLS certifications are required. Candidates must be willing to obtain NIHSS certification prior to start. A reference from a manager or supervisor in the specialty applying for is mandatory for qualification. Candidates must pass the ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation, with acceptable scores required. Travelers may remain on assignment for up to 18 months with a 6-month break required before returning unless approved. Background checks will be conducted, and any open cases will not be accepted. All candidates must comply with nicotine policies. Travelers are required to undergo a drug screening within 12 months prior to the start.
