About the Position

Job Title: Resource Position - ER and MedSurg RN Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Days Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 1 year in both Emergency Room and MedSurg License: Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Certification, PALS, TNCC Must-Have: Experience in both Emergency Room and MedSurg, willingness to float between units as needed Description: This position is for a critical access hospital. It is a traveler-friendly environment with many returning travelers. The position requires flexibility in working both MedSurg and Emergency Room. The specific percentage of time spent in each unit may vary based on needs (e.g., 50% Emergency Room, 50% MedSurg). Willingness to float to where needed is essential. Travelers must provide experience in both units clearly on their resume. The requirement includes working 12-hour shifts with some flexibility based on hospital needs. Ensuring adequate rest and sleep is a priority. An ASAP start is desired. The charting system used is Cerner. This role does not require a BSN. The hospital operates in an acute care setting. Certifications should be current and valid.
