Embark on a rewarding opportunity supporting K-12 students as a skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) during a maternity leave coverage through the remainder of the school year. This contract position offers the chance to work across multiple sites in an engaging itinerant role, providing essential services to a diverse caseload throughout an entire district.

Key Qualifications:

• Current California COTA license required
• Experience in school-based settings strongly preferred
• Comfortable working with students across all grade levels (K-12)
• Ability to manage a varied caseload of approximately 50 students
• Effective communication and collaboration skills within multidisciplinary teams
• Adaptability to move between campuses and manage responsibilities in an itinerant position
• Strong organizational skills to track progress and maintain thorough documentation

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy interventions to support student participation and progress
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to address goals outlined in IEPs
• Complete student assessments, documentation, and progress reports in alignment with school guidelines
• Travel between assigned schools to provide services across the district on-site only
• Commit to scheduled hours totaling 35 per week
• Ensure compliance with all regulations and district policies for therapy services
• Contribute positively to school communities, empowering students to thrive
