CNA PT 7a-3p weekend

Job Overview Westchester Gardens skilled nursing community located in Clearwater, FL is looking to add Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join their clinical team. The CNA plays an integral role in caring for residents and supporting the Nursing Department. We strive to deliver an exceptional experience through Platinum Service®. Shift Type Shift Type: Part‑Time Schedule: Every other weekend day shift, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM Pay: $17-$20 per hour (based on experience) Shift differential: +$2 per hour for weekend shifts Essential Job Functions Provide physical support to assist residents with daily living activities such as lifting, transfers, bed mobility, bathing, dressing, toileting, standing, walking, exercise, meals, and vital signs. Observe and document residents’ health, behavior, and emotional condition, promptly reporting changes to the nurse. Respond promptly and courteously to resident call signals, signal lights, bells, or intercom systems to determine needs. Promote personal safety and maintain a clean, safe environment by observing infection control practices and following facility guidelines. Communicate resident conditions, changes, and concerns with nurses. Complete required documentation in a timely manner. Provide companionship, comfort, and support to residents. Meet federal and state in‑service requirements. Perform other job‑related duties as assigned. Knowledge and Critical Skills Make independent decisions and follow instructions. Deal tactfully with personnel, residents, families, and visitors. Work with ill, disabled, elderly, and emotionally upset individuals. Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, residents, and families. Education and Experience Must meet all applicable state and federal requirements for this position.
