Job Title Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical / Telemetry Location Prescott, AZ | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Night Shift | 12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Onsite Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care on a combined Surgical/Neuro Telemetry unit (4A and 4B) with a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio Manage a diverse patient population including COVID, respiratory, GI, diabetic, telemetry, TIA, CVA, and general, orthopedic, and spinal surgical patients Interpret and sign telemetry strips at least once per shift (remote monitoring supported by telemetry technicians) Administer and manage set-rate drips including Diltiazem; titration of drips is not required Operate and monitor respiratory equipment including BiPAP, CPAP, high-flow oxygen, and administer breathing treatments Participate in self-scheduling within a 4-week schedule cycle, including 2 weekends per 4-week period and holiday coverage as required Required Qualifications Active RN license (applicable to practice in Arizona) BLS certification required ACLS certification required Ability to read and interpret basic telemetry strips Experience with general and/or orthopedic surgical patients, as well as CVA and TIA patient populations Willingness to float to an alternate campus and potentially to a PCU setting if qualified Preferred Experience / Skills Experience with Cerner EMR strongly recommended due to limited unit orientation (1 shift) Prior experience in a combined Med-Surg/Telemetry or Neuro-Surgical unit setting Familiarity with respiratory modalities including BiPAP, CPAP, and high-flow oxygen therapy Why Join Us Work on a well-supported unit with charge nurses who carry no patient assignment and nurse aides available to assist with patient care Enjoy a structured self-scheduling model with 4-week advance scheduling visibility Concentric Healthcare Staffing Job ID 773985.
