Overview
Registered Nurse – Operating Room (OR) in Lawrenceville, GA. Start date: 09/14/2026. Contract duration: 16 weeks. Weekly pay range: $1,864–$1,948 per week. Guaranteed hours: 40 per week. Shift: 10-hour day shifts, four days per week. Setting: travel assignment in a hospital OR environment. Note: No local candidates within 50 miles of submission.

Responsibilities
- Deliver perioperative nursing care in the OR for neurology and orthopedic procedures, with occasional robotics support
- Safely prepare the patient, scrub, circulate, and assist the surgical team; maintain sterile technique and manage instrumentation
- Monitor patient status intraoperatively, respond to changes, and coordinate with anesthesia and surgical staff
- Verify instrument counts, manage specimens, and ensure equipment readiness and turnover between cases
- Document intraoperative findings and care in the Cerner electronic medical record; communicate effectively during handoffs to PACU
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and nursing teammates to optimize patient safety and outcomes

Requirements
- Active RN license in Georgia
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of recent OR nursing experience, with strong emphasis on neuro and orthopedic cases; robotics experience preferred
- Proficiency with Cerner electronic medical record
- Ability to work four 10-hour day shifts; travel assignment eligibility; must be able to meet holiday coverage requirements
- No local candidates within 50 miles of submission
