• Adventist Health Bakersfield delivers care to a population of almost 800,000 people in the area including a focus on serving lower-income residents and those who have been historically marginalized.
• 254-bed hospital, STEMI receiving center, and stroke center.
• 25-bed emergency department with an annual ED volume of 66,000.
• Diverse patient population with a 57% Hispanic population.
• Robust specialty coverage, the tertiary care center for the Adventist Health Network.
• 24-hour CT scan, MRI, and ultrasound available.

Estimated annual base compensation of $275,000 – $900,000, depending on site, specialty, clinical volume, schedule, and experience. Compensation for part-time and per diem roles is prorated based on clinical hours worked. In addition, Vituity physicians participate in our partnership model from day one, which includes profit distributions, equity ownership, and K-1 tax advantages. Total compensation including partnership income varies by site and may significantly exceed the range shown.
