Medical AssistantHigh volume medical group seeking Medical Assistant for our Glastonbury and West Hartford locations. We are a primary care group consisting of 8 providers across both locations seeking a team player who is dependable and reliable. This position is full-time, hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm depending on which office location you are working that day.Must have the ability to handle administrative and clinical duties may include but are not limited to answering phones, making appointments, triaging calls, patient screening and brief assessment of problems, medication review, obtaining full vital signs, Urinalysis, EKG, A1C, scanning, obtaining prior authorizations and precertifications for radiology exams. Schedule various tests and appointments, document patient phone calls, take messages and route to proper providers/staff and perform other duties as assigned.
