In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including managing and fulfilling customer orders, assisting with general retail yard labor, and coordinating the schedule for timely and accurate delivery of products to the customer. This is a customer-facing position focused on providing exceptional service and ensuring a high-quality customer experience. Location: Stayton/Salem, OR. Wage: $18 - $21/HR, DOE Schedule: Full-time, 7 am 5 pm (must be willing to work weekends)

Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions): Regular and timely attendance Demonstrate safe work habits and take an active role in the Company's safety program. Take action to avoid potential hazards or obstructions Participate in and promote an inclusive work environment Provide exceptional customer service to walk in and call-in customers Leverage product knowledge to assist customers and drive sales Manage customer payments and ensure accurate cash handling procedures Take customer orders for delivery business over the phone and in person Maintain accurate and efficient delivery schedule utilizing computer point of sale application Maintain cleanliness of office, yard, and premises. Perform general landscape duties as needed Operate loading equipment, non-CDL delivery trucks, various miscellaneous landscape and yard equipment Routine heavy equipment washing using power washer Routinely assist other members of the workforce in different areas of production Other tasks and duties as assigned to meet business need

Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education/Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred. Valid driver's license required Knowledge/Skill Requirements Demonstrates good performance, safety, attendance, and punctuality Demonstrates the ability to work in a safe manner as well as maintain a safe work environment Exceptional customer service skills Demonstrates a positive attitude in a team environment Demonstrates the ability to work independently, without direct supervision Demonstrates proficiency in basic computer skills Demonstrates the ability to follow written and/or verbal instructions Demonstrates the willingness to learn and work a variety of job tasks Demonstrates a willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed Must pass physical exam and pre-employment-controlled substance testing Physical Requirements The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
