A 13-week+ contract opportunity is available for a Pharmacist to support a 200-bed community hospital in Jupiter, FL. This role offers a flexible night shift schedule, ideal for professionals open to working evenings and ready for an ASAP start.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify medication orders accurately to ensure patient safety
- Supervise pharmacy technicians and oversee their daily activities
- Manage pharmacokinetics and dosing adjustments
- Consult with physicians and nursing staff to optimize medication therapy
- Utilize EPIC and Pyxis systems for medication management and documentation
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Florida pharmacist license
- Proven inpatient hospital experience
- Comfortable working night shifts with a flexible schedule approach
- Strong communication skills for effective clinical collaboration
