Description: Travelers must start on one of the designated orientation dates. This facility has a 355-bed capacity. It is home to various specialized centers including brain, cancer, heart, lung, orthopedics, and women's health. The Emergency Department consists of 32 beds. There are inpatient rehabilitation and surgical departments as well. Position involves responding to a diverse range of patient conditions. The patient-to-nurse ratio is typically 1:4 to 1:5. Critical care equipment is utilized within the unit. Electronic Health Record (EHR) system in use is Cerner. Position requires flexibility to float to areas where competencies are held. Experience in a fast-paced emergency department is preferred. Common diagnoses treated include strokes, STEMI, and trauma. Candidates should demonstrate an energetic and knowledgeable demeanor. Required education includes a registered nursing degree. Dress code allows for scrubs of any color, but hoodies and inappropriate t-shirts are not permitted.
